knightd68 I honestly can't praise this highly enough. This is soundscape electronica. It's one of those LPs where it is almost impossible to choose a favourite, because by the time you get to the next piece, it's that! The song titles and the cover art are evocative of the pleasures within. I can't make up my mind if it's dystopian (it's eerie) or utopian (it's also kinda breezy), either way, it's a a futuristic album of great beauty. Check this out for certain. Favorite track: Visit Beautiful Oblivion.

A(eon)F I imagine what it might be like to be in free-fall, slowed + reverbed, of course, grasping at clouds.

I imagine what it might be like to learn to breathe underwater and walk along the ocean floor.

This album recalls to mind both of those imaginings and then some. Equal parts tidy and lush, head and heart, such beautiful music. Favorite track: The Other Where The Other When.

about

Hazy and ethereal sonic walls of future retro cyber synth cascading and slowly evolving, creating an ambient and dreamy soundscape, transporting the listener to other worlds via cinematic synthetic lush wonder.

The Gaye Device is the alter ego of electronic kosmische musician Andrew Howden. Residing in the picturesque West Yorkshire town of Morley, Andrew has been sculpting oddtronica since the early 90s. Inspired by the DIY ethics of punk, new wave and rave with a dash of 70s kosmische ambient synthesizers, The Gaye Device creates pools of sparkling soundwaves for aural immersion to cleanse away negative frequencies.

"Beginning with Getting Back To Before It Began, the shimmering synths, pulsing in dead slow motion, indicate the planned itinerary Andrew Howden's new album Structures wishes to take the listener. Whether he's 'getting back' to a Kosmische past or the point before the drugs took hold, is less important, the key takeaway is: this delightful Ambient album allows you to go anywhere you like."
